Colijnsplaat, in the Zeeland language Colijn, is a fishing village at the mouth of the Oosterschelde. It is located on the island of Noord-Beveland. Visit the Colijnsplaat fish auction, which takes place every Thursday. A speciality here is the Oosterschelde lobster. The village has no fewer than two windmills. These are two windmills dating from 1727 and 1864, the ‘Oude Molen’ and the ‘Nieuwe Molen’.
