This traditional territory is often viewed as a challenging boating area, but that is absolutely undeserved! Willemstad

The fortified town of Willemstad spoils its visitors with a special combination of historical and culinary hospitality with numerous nice restaurants. Particularly interesting in terms of cultural history: the Mauritshuis, the Koepelkerk, the old town hall and the fortifications surrounding the city. And challenging through the rugged landscape, for example around the Hollandsch Diep. The marina provides a perfect base for your cruise.

Tholen

33 km

The town of Tholen has a rich history and is a must for every Zeeland visitor. The town has a protected townscape, and that is not for nothing. Old dikes, windmills, farmhouses and authentic cores appear in Tholen. Peace and space, framed by the Oosterschelde National Park. There is no other way than for water sports enthusiasts to indulge themselves here. From the harbour, we can reach the Oosterschelde in no time via the Bergse Diepsluis or, with a short crossing of the Amsterdam Rhine Canal, the historic town of Bergen op Zoom, or even further across the national border to the centre of Antwerp!

Yerseke

20 km

We land in the cradle of the Zealand oyster: Yerseke (pronounced "ierseke"). Even for those who are not necessarily culinary adepts, this place is absolutely worth a visit. The oyster museum and the explanation about the cultivation of this "salty gold" is fun for everyone. And if you are a fan of mussels, this port is of course an absolute "must". Salt and Zeeland really get their physical shape here!

Goes

The medieval harbour of Goes is a great place to moor because of the view of the beautiful historical buildings. The quay walls of the harbour are among the city's national monuments. The names of the quays still remind us of the goods that arrived here: Turfkaai, Bierkaai. Go into the little streets directly behind the Grote Markt, where most of the shops are located. Twice a week, on Tuesday and Saturday, you can visit the cosy weekly market in Goes with its many stalls.

Zierikzee

37 km

At the mouth of the Oosterschelde, it is a landmark for many: the blunt tower of Zierikzee. The long supply canal has a large floodgate at the end, which still protects the city from floods and storms. Zierikzee is a lively town, and the passer-by harbour is within shooting distance of many terraces, shops and restaurants. Of course, you can also enjoy the many "salty delicacies" here and many mussels or Oosterschelde lobsters are eaten.

Bruinisse

25 km

Bruinisse is the home of many mussel fishermen. But with the presence of a large modern marina and a large holiday park it is always busy in the summer season with water sports enthusiasts and other visitors. Bruinisse is situated on the largest saltwater lake in Europe, the Grevelingenmeer. Crystal clear water without tides or currents with plenty of room to enjoy swimming, fishing, playing and much more!

Steenbergen

22 km

Steenbergen is rich in water and offers good opportunities for water recreation. The access from the Volkerak to the Steenbergse Vliet via the idyllic Benedensas lock complex is unique. The connection to the waterway network offers fantastic opportunities to explore the region from the water. Active sailors can get out into nature to their heart's content at nearby Beneden Sas.
